Job Description
Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Compliance Department. Assist in completion of routine tasks as well as projects.
Assist in developing/maintaining a calendar of activities for the Department.
Assist with scheduling and carrying out internal training sessions, as applicable, to include the scheduling of the training, record completion and archiving documentation.
Prepare agenda for weekly staff meeting, maintain notes/records of meetings, update departmental workplan and log assignments and deadlines.
Assist with audit preparation, dissemination and gathering of information, to include task lists and reminders as needed.
Assist in the review of the monthly monitoring of sanctions database exclusions and the process to resolve any potential matches.
Assist in coordinating issuance of monthly Employee Newsletter
Coordinate and schedule quarterly compliance committee meetings, issue meeting minutes
Assist with investigation and resolution of compliance issues, as applicable.
Support the development of new policies/procedures, and annual review of existing documents, as applicable.
Assist in maintenance of a central repository of all company policies/procedures, both printed and electronic versions.
Ensures compliance with and/or adhere with Company HIPAA policies and procedures.
Ensures integrity of data entered into company systems and/or databases.
Qualifications
Requirements:
At Least High School Diploma (2 years of college is highly preferred!)
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint preferred.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple deadlines, and good problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Good inter-personal skills; ability to work with varying levels of staff
Ability to work independently

Hours:
M-F 8:30-5
(w/ 30 min lunch)
