Company Job Description/Day to Day Duties:

Assist the pharmacist with the day-to-day activities in a closed-door long-term care pharmacy.

• Fill daily prescription orders: punch cards, bulk items, OTCs, compounding, cassettes, prepacks, etc.

• Stock and restock medication inventory

• Print daily orders for the pharmacy, and print labels and delivery sheets.

• Process daily shorts and punch card buckets.

• Reorder the bulks and shorts.

• Create and maintain the punch-card calendar and maintain the calendar board.

• Receive any incoming shipment of medication and handle all related paperwork.

Minimum Education/Licenses/Qualifications:

• Must have 3 months-1 yr minimum of Pharmacy Tech exp

• Pharmacy Tech License: Licensed and/or registered with the State Board of Pharmacy in Indiana and in good standing

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Strong data entry skills

•Shift: Flex Schedule

-They usually are scheduled every other weekend (sat & Sunday) which is either 8:30-5 or 9:30 – close (approx 6pm) and they usually have 2-3 x 9a-5:30pm shifts, 1 x 11-7:30p and 1 x 1:30p-10p. Depending on PTO coverage and other business needs that may change but that is the general template.
