This is a pivotal role within our growing Home Care business, offering the opportunity to shape service excellence, lead a multidisciplinary team, and help scale our services in line with client needs and regulatory standards.
About the Role
As Home Care Manager, you will take ownership of operational performance across designated regions. You’ll be responsible for the leadership of key functional teams—including Care Management, Rostering, Service Delivery, and Clinical Services—ensuring that care is delivered efficiently, safely, and with compassion.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery, drive business growth, and enhance client and employee satisfaction. This is an exciting leadership role where strategy meets hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
- Manage daily operations and performance across Care Management, Clinical, Rostering, and Service Delivery teams.
- Ensure full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and HCA’s internal policies.
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including client utilisation, retention, and satisfaction.
- Lead workforce planning and development to ensure a capable, high-performing team.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to expand our presence in South Australia and support seamless client onboarding.
- Champion HCA’s values and behaviours while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
- Manage financial performance and support the achievement of regional budget goals.
- Work closely with Marketing to support local campaigns, community engagement and resource management
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within Home Care or Aged Care, ideally across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and home care operational models.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive service delivery outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and business metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using customer management systems (CRMs).
- Highly customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Requirements
- National Police Check.
- Completion of HCA mandatory training.
