In December 2024, we commenced providing health, mental health and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention network.  Our team, which includes nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals, offer a wide range of healthcare services to detainees, such as triaging, medication, wound management, immunisation, and other clinical procedures.  HCA also introduced a Virtual Care Centre (VCC), a 24/7 service that provides remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations, helping to enhance onsite care for detainees.

As the Salesforce HealthCloud Product Owner, you will lead the strategic development of our EMRS platform to meet the needs of our diverse care environments, including primary care, aged care, and community care. Collaborating with internal SMEs, clinical stakeholders, and managed service providers, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that enhances patient care and streamlines workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EMRS product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Collaborate with clinicians and operational teams to gather and prioritize business requirements.
• Work closely with internal SMEs, Salesforce administrators, and developers to design and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
• Oversee the testing and release process by partnering with Test Leads and Release Managers.
• Ensure platform compliance with industry standards (e.g., RACGP, ISM controls) and maintain data security.
• Act as the key liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and managed service providers, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
• Drive user adoption through collaboration with training teams and ensure feedback informs ongoing improvements.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in healthcare IT, with expertise in Salesforce HealthCloud.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems and workflows in clinical environments (acute and primary care experience highly desirable).
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with clinicians, IT teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and secure data management practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
