Technology Skill requirements:

-          3-5 years software engineering experience

-          Advanced Degree in Mathematics

-          basic understanding of C# UI development

-          Multi-threaded server side Java design and development

-          SQL scripting and basic DB design (MySQL)

-          Experience with ETL and data transformation technologies (Pentaho)

-          Financial Services or Options/Derivatives experience a plus, but not necessary.

1)      strong core java knowledge: oo, sockets, threading, concurrency, collections

2)      the ability to understand and work with a large code-base

3)      some experience working on tcp servers and clients using core java

4)      some experience using SQL

5)      some experience using C# and comfortable with Visual Studio IDE

6)      some knowledge of ms-dos or linux scripting 

7)      comfortable using SVN for source control
