Job Description

Main tasks will include

  1. Being a public advocate for the work of CitizenGO.
  2. Planning and executing campaigns in the UK which promote life, family, and freedom.
  3. Offline events including: delivering signatures, hosting rallies, planning press conference, etc.
  4. Attending conferences and networking events in the UK and delivering small presentations related to CitizenGO and the campaigns we organize and promote.
  5. Setting up a non-profit entity for CitizenGO in UK.
  6. Managing CitizenGO UK bank account.
  7. Administrative tasks associated with running a small business.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Good knowledge of current life, family and freedom issues.
  • Ability and willingness to give interviews and speak publicly about “hot button” topics on life, family and liberty.
  • Existing knowledge and a successful track record of organising and running public events. 
  • Experience with networking with other NGOs and ability to represent CitizenGO in this regard. 
  • A sound understanding of and commitment to the mission of CitizenGO.
  • Good writing skills.

Desirable

  • Good honours degree.
  • Experience with media and press,
  • Knowledge and track record of developing a grassroots following for a nationwide campaign that have helped support a political strategy.
  • Experience developing highly engaging and results-driven content for digital assets.
  • Existing relationships with key journalists, producers etc in the mainstream media.

Additional Information

Be willing to travel within the UK for meetings/events, and abroad for meetings and training 2-4 times per year.

Remuneration

  • Salary: competitive based upon skills and experience.

Length of contract

  • 20h part time position (depending on ability and performance, could become a full-time position)
