Job Description

The Campaigns Director, Global, will manage and coordinate a diverse team of campaigners working in 12 languages in 17 countries. You will support CitizenGO campaigners in their mission to effectively raise awareness on our issues and provoke our active members act to protect human life, promote the family and defend religious freedom, both globally and locally (in each country).

Main tasks will include:

  1. Recruiting, training, and managing a team of committed and effective campaigners.

  2. Following-up and motivating campaigners to launch effective local and global petitions, communicate progress and nurture the relationship with the CitizenGO active members and collaborators and, in general, to fulfill their tasks and objectives. For this purpose, holding a weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one conference call with each campaigner.

  3. Encouraging and helping campaigners to develop a more marketing-oriented approach and to start using more functionalities (rules) of our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo), apply best marketing practices. For this purpose, you must become a Marketo “super-user” (expert).

  4. Together with the CEO, establishing and maintaining deep partnerships with leading global like-minded organizations to help them reach their mission by using our state-of-the-art technology for winning campaigns, and thus acquiring new supporters for their cause.

  5. Attending conferences and networking events and delivering small presentations related to CitizenGO and the campaigns we organize and promote.

  6. Liaising with other CitizenGO departments (Fundraising, Communications, Administration, Technology, Marketing Automation) to further our Foundation’s mission in an effective and efficient way.

  7. Collaborating with the CitizenGO Global Editor to define the global campaigns and plans of actions (including offline activities).

  8. Strategizing with the CitizenGO team about how to continue to expand our effectiveness, reach and impact.

  9. Guiding campaigners to going offline: both global and local events and activities.

  10. Analyzing the data of list growth, number of campaigns, topics, donations, engagement reports… and taking action to improve and correct.

  11. Analyzing and studying circumstances, opportunities and risks, to plan the areas of expansion of CitizenGO, both geographically and in terms of human resources and local presence.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Marketing, Management or Humanities.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • At ease in the use of technology (Google Apps, Office, Social Networks, Maeketing Apps...).
  • Experience in managing teams (experience in managing teams remotely is a plus).
  • Previous marketing experience preferred.

Additional Information

  • You will report to the President & CEO.
  • Based in Madrid. The role will involve some travel.
