He aha te tūranga - About the role:

We're looking for a Roster Coordinator to join our Auckland-based team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.  This is a fast-paced, varied role where you'll balance operational requirements with the needs of our people to ensure effective service delivery.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. Initial training will be office-based, with the flexibility to work a mix of home and office days once you're fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day rostering process, helping ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to support our frontline services.
  • Maintain accurate databases for daily rosters 
  • Manage weekly rosters and leave requests
  • Support workforce planning across a busy 24/7 operation

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in rostering or a similar coordination role (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and take pride in delivering a high standard of service
  • Confident in picking up the phone and building positive relationships
  • Proven experience using systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A team‑oriented mindset and positive attitude
  • A resilient, adaptable approach
