Job Description
He aha te tūranga - About the role:
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll provide support to an HR Business Partner and an HR Advisor in the management of a busy enabling services portfolio. As a member of the wider Business Partnering & Advisory Team, your role will vary from day-to-day admin and coordination, to assisting with low-level HR issues and providing information and/or guidance to managers regarding key HR Processes. You’ll also provide timely and accurate reporting and insights, and supporting projects as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- First point of contact for general HR enquiries
- Provide accurate advice by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Support projects and initiatives through research, analysis, and reporting across advisory, change, and reward activities
- Coordinate team operations, including meetings, documentation, reporting, and administrative processes
- Monitor financial processes such as invoices and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Build strong working relationships, contribute to team effectiveness, and proactively identify and address issues
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
- HR qualification or working towards completion (desirable)
- An understanding of employment law and best practice HR policies & processes
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong relationship building skills
- Coordination experience as well as effective time management and organisational skills
- Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Photo Shop
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
