Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role:   

The Hub Manager ensures the effective and efficient service delivery of operational resources within the Auckland District.

  • Lead by example – providing leadership, direction, mentoring and support to direct reports – including meaningful feedback, performance planning, management and development practices for direct reports
  • Co-ordinate the processing and allocation of operations vehicles and equipment to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all operational resources across the Hub catchment area.
  • Responsible for operational vehicle readiness by ensuring all operational vehicles have current COFs and road user charges, and co-ordinating the regular servicing and required repairs of vehicles, whilst ensuring minimum resource levels are maintained
  • Responsible for ensuring minimum consumable levels are maintained at all times within established processes across the district, and that inwards goods are received and distributed to relevant areas, including controlled medicines
  • Ensure Operations Resource Assistants are adequately trained and co-ordinate the undertaking of minor repairs, preventative maintenance and calibrations on equipment as required to ensure operational readiness

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:  

  • Proven experience in the planning and management of logistics and operational resources to meet service delivery and budget requirements
  • Clean Full NZ Driver’s License
  • First Aid Certificate preferred
  • Experience in working in a 24hour, high demand work environment preferred
  • Experience and/or qualifications in cleaning and decontamination preferred
  • Ability to identify areas for service improvement, and initiate and implement approved process improvement
