Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

In this varied and busy role, you’ll provide administrative support to the Occupational Health team, helping ensure efficient service delivery and the provision of timely, accurate information to support Health, Safety and Wellbeing work plans.

Key accountabilities include

  • Providing effective administrative support to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Assisting with the development, coordination and delivery of Occupational Health communications, resources, documentation and reports.
  • Managing communications and maintaining accurate records for pre-employment screening, workplace exposures, and health monitoring and surveillance.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential information within the Patient Management System, My Practice, and ensuring the confidentiality of information.

This is a full time fixed term contract until 30 June 2026.

Qualifications

You’re an organised and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience providing administrative support in a large, complex organisation, ideally within Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and be highly organised
  • A strong customer focus and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong MS Office skills, including experience managing large spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Experience with Patient Management Systems (PMS) desirable
