Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role:   

An opportunity has become available in our Telecare Customer Support team for a Support Representative. This is a full time 40 hours per week role on a 6 month fixed term contract. The team work on a rostered basis between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

This is a chance for you to gain valuable experience and build on your expertise in customer care. As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for actioning customer enquiries about their St John Medical Alarms in a timely manner; as well as providing a consistent and high-quality service to the Telecare Field Force team, ensuring they have the right information and support to deliver an effective service to our customers.

This is a hard-working team that provide administration, sales and customer service support as well as build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Proven experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • The ability to manage numerous and sometimes competing priorities
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment 
  • Energy, drive and initiative and be a team player

The most important attributes we are looking for is attitude and the willingness to learn.
