In this role, you'll oversee incident reviews and coordinate the dispatch of Emergency Ambulance helicopters nationwide. You'll collaborate closely with external agencies like police and the Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand to provide vital care to patients. We're seeking a professional with a keen eye for detail, a great attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively. You will need to navigate a busy environment with a solution-focused approach and deliver exceptional customer service. Comprehensive clinical and air desk training will be provided in a supportive, collaborative setting. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth within Hato Hone St John.

• Current Authority to Practice at Paramedic level or above with field operations experience.

Our benefits include but not limited to: 

• Competitive salary. Entry rate for qualified Paramedics is $84,169 ($38.54 gross hourly rate). Increasing to $92,887 after 4 years' service. Further information on other qualifications can be discussed on enquiry.
• Clinical Support Officers will receive an allowance in addition to base Paramedic rate. 
• Penal rates will be paid for unsocial hours (nights and weekends)  
• Our service covers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a Clinical Support Officer your shifts will be 12-hour shifts (days, swings and nights)- in a four on and four off, delivering clinical support and other clinical deliverable's such as education. 
• Multiple staff benefits - including competitive medical insurance scheme, Member Assistance Programme, Flu vaccinations, Free emergency ambulance transport and access to great discounts at several supportive businesses across New Zealand. 
• Reimbursement of your NZ Paramedic registration fee annually 
• Location - Mt Wellington, Head office.
