Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role:

Whātuia te Waiora - Weaving Wellbeing supports Year 7 and 8 tamariki to use their strengths and weave positivity into each day. 

This powerful programme helps them to understand their strengths, build positive relationships, and develop resilience and confidence to navigate their world. Details of this role:

  • 24 hours per week (with days to be arranged with the successful candidate)
  • Northland/Whangarei based - travel to centres/schools/kura is required
  • Start date of Monday 14 October
  • Fixed-term position until July 2025

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with tamariki
  • Being wiling and able to travel (must hold a full NZ drivers licence)
  • Understand and appreciate different cultures and diverse learning styles
  • Have excellent time management and organisation skills
