Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect to support the delivery of a significant urban transport/ infrastructure project, with a particular focus on technical documentation, detailed design development, and Revit-based project delivery.
This role is suited to an architect with strong technical capability and proven experience working within complex, large-scale project environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production, coordination, and management of high-quality architectural documentation across project stages, ensuring design intent is translated into clear, accurate, and buildable information.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of detailed packages for technically complex transport environments, supporting coordination with internal design teams, consultants, and wider project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and manage high-quality architectural documentation using Revit.
- Develop detailed design and construction documentation packages in line with project standards, programme requirements, and delivery milestones.
- Prepare architectural details that respond to the technical, operational, and compliance requirements of transport infrastructure environments.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with BIM standards, naming conventions, and project protocols.
- Support the resolution of technical design issues through close collaboration with project leads and multidisciplinary teams.
- Work collaboratively within a highly regulated and technically demanding project environment.
Qualifications
Skills and experience we’re keen to see
- Qualification in Architecture and demonstrated experience in architectural project delivery.
- Strong experience in the documentation and detailing of complex projects, ideally within transport, infrastructure, public, or similarly large-scale environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM-led documentation workflows.
- Excellent technical detailing skills and the ability to produce clear, coordinated, and construction-ready documentation.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with a broad consultant group.
- Ability to manage information carefully and work effectively within established project standards and delivery frameworks.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Experience or a keen interest in working on transport-related projects would be highly regarded.
- Currently hold full working rights in Australia and available to work in our Brisbane studio.
