Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Full Stack technologies to join our dynamic team. Please note it is imperative you have intermediate to advanced skills in SQL including Creating and maintaining complex SLQ queries including optimisation, Stored Procedures, views, and Indexing. You will also have end to end experience working with ETL Tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse or SSIS. data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and views.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures.
  • Implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Synapse for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources into centralised data repositories.
  • Optimise database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Utilise Azure Blob Storage for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and deployment of data solutions.
  • Develop data visualizations and reports using Power BI, leveraging DAX and Power Query.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Full Stack technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and database development is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Blob Storage.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing data projects and deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Advantageous skills in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query for data visualization and analytics.
