About The Role
Are you ready to lead Hassell into the future with AI and machine learning? Hassell see AI and machine learning technology as a future strategic enabler for our design firm into the future. As an AI Consultant within our Global Technology team, you will be at the forefront of driving and implementing AI technologies.

You will lead the development and implementation of advanced AI and machine learning solutions for Hassell.

Please note this role can be based in any of our Australian Studio locations (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth).
 

About You
You're not just a tech enthusiast; you bring a passion for AI and machine learning. Your unique blend of analytical and technical skills, project management, complemented by effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and technology vendors, sets you apart.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire AI adoption lifecycle, including solution design, vendor engagement, seamless delivery, and ensuring widespread user adoption. This is your chance to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption of AI tools and solutions across our business.
• Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and integration into our environments.
• Architect and implement scalable and robust AI systems using cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and other AI frameworks.
• Conduct advanced analytics and develop predictive models using machine learning, deep learning, NLP, content and image generation.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand, gather their business requirements and goals around AI tools and solutions translating into technical requirements solutions.
• Collaborate with technology and development leaders to ensure AI solutions are developed to best practices, including Azure DevOps, CI / CD, and versioning controls.
• Lead the project management and end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, working closely with vendors, project managers, data scientists, and developers to ensure successful implementation of AI tools.
• Stay at the forefront of AI research and applications, exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance solutions driving value to our business.
• Provide presentations and training to ensure successful adoption of AI based technology across our business.

Qualifications, Experience, And Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI solution development and deployment, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
• Several years' experience in software development.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, AI/ML technologies, project management highly desirable.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP), particularly in the context of AI project implementations.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles and successful stakeholder and vendor management.
• Excellent working knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS OR Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent working knowledge of cloud AI, machine learning technology services (Azure Open AI, Cognitive services, AWS SageMaker, Kendra, and others).
• Demonstrated professional experience in AI model development, covering text generation, image generation, document analysis, structured and unstructured data analysis, and chatbot technology.
• Development skills and experience in Microsoft full stack and Python and experience in data platforms, including TSQL.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders, conducting presentations, and training large audiences.
