Marketing Specialist - Demand Generation (Fluent French Required)

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing impactful, innovative end-to-end marketing campaigns and events to increase brand awareness, drive demand generation and retention in the East and West African markets. This person will be responsible for collaborating with the various business stakeholders in country and execution of business plans into successful marketing tactics.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Understand the East and West African market and business to expertly synthesize market insights and company objectives including solutions, industry, audiences, geographies
  • Define target market and personas definitions/characteristics to fully understand preferences, needs and challenges
  • Drive strategic planning with business and marketing to understand revenue targets, global and regional business needs, routes to market and translate into appropriate integrated marketing plan
  • Develop messaging and positioning framework and content plan, including thought leadership assets
  • Demonstrate expertise in all marketing disciplines to create a customer-focused end-to-end marketing plan across the full marketing mix
  • Oversee the execution of plan, evaluation of plan performance and adjust direction as needed to ensure high level of success
  • Act as trusted marketing advisor to the business; manage stakeholder’s expectations to ensure alignment, visibility and high level of satisfaction. Set/ re-set expectations as needed based on required changes.
  • Work closely with marketing operations to understand our inbound marketing strategy translates into customers and continually refine the process to convert customers.
  • KPI’s include analytics and measurement of pipeline, lead conversion, opportunity value and customer retention.
  • Digital Marketing tactics to expand reach
  • Budget planning and management to ensure full compliance

Qualifications

  1.  University degree preferred
  2. B2B Marketing preferred
  3. Understanding of Digital Marketing and new media
  4. Proficiency in Sales Force CRM (preferable)
  5. Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects
  6. Ability to work successfully across different departments and teams
  7. Efficiently work under pressures, deadlines, and stretch to complete assigned tasks
  8. Exhibits great creativity and resourcefulness
  9. Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate insight and ideas effectively
  10. Self-confident and outgoing personality
