Hasana, Inc. is seeking talented students in the Chicago Loop area for

a variety of spring internship positions. Take advantage of on the

Job Description

· Be knowledgeable of the property needs of Hasana. Hasana is a charitable, luxury retailer that sells fashionable clothes, jewelry, and accessories. All the profits made support the Aparecio Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women advance their education and economic opportunities.

· Conduct research on locations that will meet the needs of a Hasana retail location.

· Schedule tours of possible locations and allow volunteers/interns of the Aparecio Foundation to view locations.

· Develop relationships with property representatives, real estate brokers, alderman, chamber of commerce, etc. in order to negotiate property rates for desired locations.

· Negotiate leases on the behalf of the Aparecio Foundation

· Review legal documents and leases to ensure that the Aparecio Foundation is receiving the best deals possible.

· Maintain open communication with the Aparecio Foundation and provide the information that is needed to make informed decisions in regards to locations for Hasana.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

· A minimum of two years of experience in working with property representatives and negotiating leases.

· Comfortable with making new connections with property representatives.

· Ability to efficiently negotiate leases.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· A passion for women’s economic opportunities.
