Job Description

General Purpose

A versatile task for a dynamic engineer who is passionate and wants to develop towards supplier and project quality management. You will become a supporting team member in the optimization of the value creation processes in a progressive organization.

Responsibilities

You monitor the quality assurance measures at the supplier’s site, coordination of quality activity and program on the shop floor at: steel construction; Module assembly; vehicle assembly; process/product approval as well as the process and series approvals. The perspective will cover cross-divisional quality activities alongside with diverse project partners, and willing to be directly involved in:

  • Responsible for the day to day non-conformity management of mechanical part and on the assembly line.
  • Ensure responsiveness to notify and engage suppliers and assembly partner of non-conformity report (NCR) and action plan, replacement of defective parts and collaborate to implement safety measures.
  • Support in the implementation of the engineering changes, retrofit at our supplier’s site.
  • Drive the implementation of action plan - corrective and preventive actions at our supplier’s site and on the production line.
  • Participation in process and product approval of large and medium mechanical components
  • Monitoring the quality of welding ensuring that it meets industry standards and specification.
  • Maintaining records of assembly process, product conformity, product approval and collaborate and support in the in-process inspections on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Education and professional Training

  • Completed technical university degree and advanced training in quality assurance as well as a corresponding provable work experience
  • Welding quality control skills, training or experience

 Experience

  • Several years of professional experience preferably in manufacturing engineering industry, Automobile or Rail sector, or other related automobile industry
  • Good knowledge of the common quality tools (PPAP, FMEA, 8D)
  • Fluent in business English
  • Good skills in MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of railway technology would be advantageous
  • Distinct willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team and also independent way of working
  • Ability to travel  (business trips occur sporadically within Turkey)
