Job Description

The Site Supervisor is key to daily site operations and will be responsible to help drive the performance of the team.  The Site Supervisor will work with the Facility/General Manager to make sure all site operations are completed in the safest, most efficient manner.  The Site Supervisor will work to ensure the site, the work performed, and all staff, represent Clean Earth’s values, always.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage all field operations, site employees and daily details of the Clean Earth Beneficial Use facility.
  • Monitor and maintain general site maintenance and field operations.
  • Prioritize the needs of the facility and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead the monitoring and tracking of inbound customer delivery schedule.
  • Lead day to day oversight of mechanics, equipment operators and laborers. Support and manage part ordering and oversight of daily equipment maintenance. General  oversight of equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Ownership of calculating and procuring inventories of all equipment and site supplies.
  • Assist with the phasing of construction sequencing to meet contract requirements.
  • Work independently in a safe and efficient manner and follow all Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices are followed and provide ongoing education and accountability to the staff to ensure safe operations.
  • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Degree in environmental science or civil engineering with 1-3 years’ experience, or 10+ years of environmental construction, heavy earthwork experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated advanced competency in use of computers, software and the internet to communicate, document, and research.
  • Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including eye protection, foot protection, hard hat, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience a plus.
