Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Is responsible for effectively monitoring and reporting of asset data models linked to asset performance and condition
  • Provides support to the Asset Management function to ensure the optimization and reliability of assets through enhanced data analysis.
  • Generating and supporting the reporting for metrics.
  • This drives value by understanding asset business systems analytical activities to improve asset performance through data analytics and reporting ensuring compliance to business objectives and strategy.

 KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Monitors data primarily within the asset management systems and processes,
  • Measure data against other functional reporting such as Finance, Engineering, Procurement etc. to ensure a multi-dimensional asset view is provided
  • Works within AM function and site leadership teams to diagnose & overcome repetitive failures.
  • Provides low level assessments on asset condition linked to telemetry and utilization
  • Gathers asset failure data and plots it over time, allowing for analysis overtime to identify failure patterns that may not otherwise be apparent.

 RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Collects data across multiple monitoring sources.
  • Provides low level assessments on asset condition.
  • Provides support to Asset Management Business Analyst and recommendations to Regional Asset Managers/Area Managers
  • Contributes to defect component review and reference against data analysis.
  • Provides data analysis and technical information relating operational information systems relating to Asset Optimization, Utilization and Reliability.
  • Communicates the outcomes of monitoring data analysis with asset management stakeholders.
  • Prepares asset condition and performance information to support maintenance decisions.
  • Collects data across multiple monitoring sources to for determining reliability of components and processes
  • Communicates outcomes of monitoring data analysis with business stakeholders.
  • Prepares asset condition and performance information reports to support maintenance decisions on a monthly/Quarterly and annual cycles.

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in  Business/Statistics/Information Systems/Computer Science, or other related degree with a strong analytical component.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience related to the position.
  • Specific analytical and functional experience with Enterprise Asset Management or Work Order Systems is desirable.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience at an organization that maintains a large asset base (Heavy industry, mining, materials.) is desirable.
  • General knowledge of the key phases and activities in a capital asset’s lifecycle, and data elements associated with major asset lifecycle phases.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong skills in summarizing and presenting analysis in both tabular and graphical formats.
  • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate skills using mainstream tools such as Power BI to perform business analysis and reporting.
  • Should work in 2-11 pm IST Shift
