Job Description

Traveling to customer locations, you will pick up and transport waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. You’ll gain valuable skills in learning to classify, properly segregate and prepare waste containers for shipment per DOT regulations.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Haz-Mat endorsements and you must be able to drive a manual transmission truck.  By law, you must be at least 21 years of age. 

Preferred qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED  
  • Waste industry experience
  • TWIC endorsement 
  • Working knowledge of Environmental and DOT rules and regulations. 
  • Ability to read a map   
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Basic ability to operate a computer and/or smart phone     
  • Willingness and ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
  • Ability to navigate over uneven surfaces
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull loads of up to 500 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
