Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the plant/field including but not limited to generating and processing paperwork, including manifests, maintaining logs and communicating required reports to the appropriate departments.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Keep track of daily work orders schedule
  • Quality Assurance, as needed, of labels, waste manifests, and all other associated paperwork
  • Track waste shipments with disposal facilities
  • Perform necessary data entry & record keeping activities
  • Maintain and update current database and files
  • Manage and distribute information in an administrative office environment
  • Manage the office phone; Answer and reroute all phone calls that come through
  • Maintain and organize all company documents and employee files
  • Create and distribute all interoffice memos
  • Run required reports for the facility
  • Complete all other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree 
  • 2 or more years of administrative experience working in an office setting 
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and Outlook
