Job Description

The Financial Analyst provides planning, analysis and decision support and works closely with the Senior Leadership Team in formulating the financial aspects of long range planning, annual planning, forecasting, and strategic and tactical business decisions, including acquisition and divestiture activity, across multiple product lines and geographies.  The position will report to the Senior Manager FP&A with close collaboration with Vice-President, Finance.
    
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Partner with regions, business lines and functions to conduct financial forecasting and planning in coordination with the Senior Manager, FP&A and V.P., Finance. 
•    In coordination with the Senior Manager, FP&A and V.P., Finance, develop management reports to provide timely, relevant and actionable information to regional and line-of-business leaders to assist them in achieving their AOP and strategic initiatives.
•    Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and financial cycles, including long range plans and annual plans.  This includes developing forecasts and projections for revenues, costs, and cash flows for all key aspects of the business, and articulating key business drivers and assumptions that underpin financial projections. 
•    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for the Senior Leadership Team, Corporate, and Board of Directors meetings.  
•    Develop daily dashboards and other reporting to monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. 
•    Assist with special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses. 
•    Provide ad-hoc analysis and support as needed, including special projects such as tax and treasury initiatives and financial presentations. 
 

Qualifications


II.  Basic Qualifications  
A.    Education 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
B.    Experience 
•    Three to Five years finance experience

III.  Preferred Qualifications  
A.    Education or Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
B.    Interpersonal Skills
•    Effective oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data
•    Ability to write in a clear and concise manner
•    Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals in different locations at all levels of the organization.
•    Highly motivated, self starter, and disciplined in approach
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
•    Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
C.    Technical Skills
•    Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
•    Experience using Hyperion Planning and Financial Management (HFM) software a plus
•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
•    Mathematical skills

IV.  Essential Functions
