Job Description

As Maintenance Technician, your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility in Morgantown, WV. This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.  You’ll develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.  This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years’ maintenance work experience, and possess a boiler, welding or electrical certification or license.  

By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.   

Preferred qualifications are an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field, knowledge of hazardous material handling and OSHA training.   As you will interact with customers and internal staff, ability to communicate in English is important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
