Job Description

•    This position will coordinate and manage the execution of manufacturing requirements to meet or exceed business plans.  Must be a team player and interact well with a diverse workforce. 
•    Develops and issues manufacturing orders in accordance with Master Production Schedule.
•    Will facilitate efficient processing of orders to assure minimum resources and inventory investment.
•    Will work with other functional areas to monitor and resolve material and capacity issues.
•    Expected to identify, communicate, and address issues regarding schedule attainment. 
•    Will utilize ERP system to effectively manage capacities and resources
•    Responsible for ensuring system transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

A.    Education 
•         2 yr AA Degree in Supply Chain/ related field or 5 + yrs of job related experience and required job related Certifications
or
•         High School graduate with 8 + yrs job related Experience with job  

B.    Experience 
•    5 + years plus years of experience in Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, and/or Supervisory experience in a MRP environment.

III.    Preferred Qualifications  

A.    Education or Experience
•    ERP experience, BAAN a plus
•    Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or related certification(s)

B.    Interpersonal Skills
•    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data  
•    Ability to write in a clear and concise manner
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
•    Ability to interact with diverse groups of employees

C.    Technical Skills
•    Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
•    Microsoft or related experience

D.    Other Skills
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion.
