Job Description

*Please note that this is a contract position. There is no guarantee of more work after this event*

We are looking for individuals who are 24 or 40 hour OSHA trained and ware willing to pay a range of $15-20/hour depending on work experience.

Clean Earth is looking to hire  an OSHA Trainer to assist with a Household Hazardous Waste Collection for Spring and Fall events in Fort Meyers, FL.  

The tasks these individuals would be doing is below:

  • Unloading household chemicals from participants vehicles
  • Stacking paint cans into roll off boxes or cubic yard boxes
  • Pouring up motor oil or solvents
  • Sorting paint cans by water base or oil base

Qualifications

  • 24 or 40 OSHA Certification required
  • Experience working with and disposing of hazardous waste preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening skills

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis.
