ON SITE ONLY. This position is for a part-time web development intern at Hardin Design & Development. Responsibilities include application development, project management, application architecture design and implementation. During the summer, candidates are expected to work 10 or more hours a week at our office.

Any student currently working towards a degree in computer science or a related study is preferred, but not required. Other combinations of training and/or experience which can be demonstrated to result in possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are needed to perform the tasks of this position will also be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ability to develop in more than one programming language (CSS, Java, PHP, Objective C, HTML), the ability to communicate effectively with clients and Hardin staff, self-motivation, and the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.

Additional Consideration Given to Candidates with:

Experience with web development using PHP and modern JavaScript (e.g. ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue)

Strong web design skills

A web portfolio demonstrating qualifications for this role
