IT Operations Manager | London Market Insurerance | Permanent - up to £80K
An American corporate insurance company with offices across the UK and Europe is looking for an IT Operations Manager to fill a key role in a London based technical services team.The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the IT support team in the delivery of IT Services to a small number of affiliated companies within the group. This will include the operational aspects of the delivery of Service Desk support, Application support and infrastructure management for the UK/European IT estate user base.

- Previous experience of working with on- and off-shore businesses and suppliers

- Proven experience of running an IT support team
- Good level of knowledge on typical enterprise technologies and processes

- Cisco networking technologies including Video Conferencing and Telephony
- Good level of experience with IT incident management systems such as Service Now
- Development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Good level of experience of managing third party suppliers
- Experience operating in a complex organizational environment dealing with members of staff at all levels up to CEO
- PRA, FSA, SOX, Solvency II, Internal and External IT audit complianceEducation/Skills
- A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline is required
- ITIL service management implementation and usage (preference)
- Knowledge of the corporate insurance industry (as opposed to retail (preference))
