Job Description
As a Home Care Specialist, the Employee is required to perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner.
(a) - Oversee the process for caregiver and client assignments to ensure staffing resources are highly utilized and well-matched to clients that fit their skills and strengths.
(b) - Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for all client and caregiver communications ensuring all schedule and client information is handled in a detailed, accurate, and timely fashion.
(c) - Document all details of scheduling, employee and client activity in the database software
(d) - Maintain client profiles with updated care plan information and update the care plan as needed
(e) - Maintain adherence to quality and policy standards through timely feedback on minor issues.
(f) - Maintain the scheduling/client database software with attention to detail and accountability
(g) - Work collaboratively with HAHCS team members to effectively support staffing and client success.
(h) - Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.
(i) - Training will be provided and paid
This is a full-time weekday position

- 3 years minimum scheduling experience required
- Experience with SmartCare Software is a big plus
- great verbal and written communication skills
- comfort in learning new software and utilizing technology in an effective manner
