Job Description

Our fast-growing food retail company is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator.  This role will report to the Fleet Manager.  The Logistics Coordinator will manage the day to day needs of an over the road operation this includes drivers, road tractors, day-cab and box truck. The position will also conduct analysis and reporting with the goal of improving safety, efficient routing and on time performance.  Candidate must be proficient in Excel, and have experience with D365 SCM or other ERP’s is a plus.  The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for growth and learning, driven, agile and articulate. The position involves working cross-functionally with Hana Group teams, including Warehousing, Procurement, Accounting, Marketing, Retail Operations and IT.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate assigning freight to inbound PO’s as well as liaise and resolve issues between procurement and warehousing operations.
  • Analyze Hours of Service.
  • Coordinates activities between multiple team entities, address short pays & past due.
  • Managing the procurement of third party backhauls, create appropriate billing.
  • Coordinate fleet support, including service and maintenance, etc.
  • Manage appointment portals keeping pickup and delivery appointments in line.
  • Supervise driver activity while on the road.
  • All additional tasks assigned by the fleet manager.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working experience in supply chain perishable fields.
  • 2+ years working experience with Excel.
  • Experience with D365, or other ERP systems a plus.
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills.
  • 2+ years negotiating brokered third party loads.
  • Knowledge of Freight boards (DAT) (Truck Stops)

Ability to thrive in a fast pace high stress TEAM environment with a minor in de-escalation
