Job Description

He angituutanga: The opportunity

If you're someone who likes to stay organised, build great working relationships, and find better ways of doing things, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you'll support a range of administrative, finance, quality, and improvement activities, helping to keep things running smoothly while making a real contribution to the team's success.

We're looking for a proactive team player with at least two years' administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. You'll be confident working independently, anticipating what's needed before being asked, and communicating effectively with a wide range of people both inside and outside the organisation. Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with a positive mindset and a commitment to doing the right thing, working collaboratively, and getting things done.

You'll bring a full, clean driver's licence and a genuine willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed. Experience in local government would be an advantage, but it's not essential. More important is your ability to learn quickly, work well with others, and bring energy, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
