This is a chance to work on impactful HR and Regulatory platforms, collaborate with experienced platform and product specialists, and play a genuine role in shaping how digital services support Hamilton’s people and services.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Digital Analyst to play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality digital solutions that support our organisation and community.

Working alongside platform and digital product specialists, you’ll contribute to the delivery of our HR and Regulatory platform services, designing and improving solutions that deliver tangible value and exceptional outcomes for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with other platform teams and stakeholders to ensure digital solutions are delivered consistently and operate effectively.
As a Digital Analyst, you will:
- Work within an Agile scrum framework to support the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions
- Act as a bridge between business processes and technology, focusing on outcomes rather than outputs
- Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and ensure ongoing engagement and buy-in
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate requirements and proposed solutions
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and develop clear functional specifications
- Translate analysis and desired outcomes into enhancements for existing platforms or new solutions
- Configure workflows, dashboards, and forms in a SaaS environment
- Investigate and resolve functional issues or adapt solutions to changing business needs
- Create and maintain high-quality system and process documentation
- Advocate for strong platform governance and best practice standards

Qualifications
Oo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experience
- Experience scripting, building, and configuring solutions in a SaaS platform environment.
- Experience with SAP Success Factors and SaaS based ERP systems e.g. Datascape, Authority.
- Excellent problem-solving skills are crucial for addressing both technical and business challenges, from identifying issues, analysing them, and develop effective solutions.
- Understanding the needs of the organisation, processes for HR and Payroll, council’s regulatory processes an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
- Proven experience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Confidence working independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- A willingness to develop deep knowledge of both business operations and supporting technologies within your platform domain.
