Our Visitor Experience Representatives are based in our Hamilton Gardens Gallagher Visitor Centre. This is a role where every day offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our visitors' experiences.

We are looking for star service representatives who are just as passionate about service excellence and community engagement as we are.
Working across Hamilton Gardens, you’ll be:
- Welcoming and engaging with visitors from diverse backgrounds.
- Providing friendly and informative assistance within the Gallagher Visitor Centre and in and around the gardens.
- Handling ticket and retail sales, scanning tickets outdoors and managing entry points. If required, deliver guided tours on occasion.
- Assisting the volunteers as required with daily tasks.
- Supporting with all aspects of venue and events as required, including bookings, set-up, pack down, and onsite assistance at the venue outside of normal business hours.
- Responding to visitor inquiries and feedback which may include providing local recommendations on what to see and do.
- Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the Gallagher Visitor Centre.
This role will be directly reporting to the Visitor Services Manager; however you will be collaborating with the broader Hamilton Gardens team which includes participating in regular team meetings and training sessions.
We have two permanent roles roles available:
1x 40 hours per week in the summer reducing to 35 hours per week in the winter, to be worked on Friday - Tuesday
1x 40 hours per week in the summer reducing to 35 per week in the winter, to be worked Tuesday - Saturday
Qualifications

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for customer service and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash and operate ticketing systems.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Keen interest in learning and sharing knowledge about our services and products at Hamilton Gardens.

The hourly rate for this job is $28.96.
