He angituutanga: The opportunity 

We are looking for a Revenue Coordinator on a fixed term basis until the end of February 2026. You will be joining a high performing team with a great culture.

This role plays its part in supporting Council’s community focus and supports water conservation across Hamilton City by capturing water consumption data enabling customers to make informed water conservation decisions.

This is a busy and varied role with two core parts. The first part includes receiving water meter read data from across our network of commercial, industrial and non-residential customers and generating invoices for payment.

The second part includes answering customer queries, completing trade waste and third-party invoicing, generating work orders for our inhouse maintenance delivery team, organising special reads, investigating water use, missing meters and much more.

  • Excellent financial data management skills and a strong anlytical ability.
  • Very good attention to detail.
  • An intermediate level of computer literacy specifically with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems, identify process improvements and adapt to change.
  • The ability to operate independently whilst building on the strength of the team.
  • Excellent time management to operate within a fast-paced environment.
