This role sits in the Council’s Community Group, which comprises of community focused services such as Hamilton Pool, Parks and Recreation, Hamilton City Libraries and the city’s three main visitor attractions.

This is a great opportunity to join the Hamilton City Council Team of the Year 2024, helping to maintain one of the cleanest cities in New Zealand.
You will be working with a highly skilled and motivated team in responding to requests to remove graffiti from the city and within our park spaces. Our team has a wonderful reputation for our quick response and we nurture a positive relationship with the public.
You will be using different methods such as water blasting, painting and using chemicals to remove the graffiti. Within this role the following skills are required:
- able to maintain vehicle, plant, and equipment
- able to work at heights
- able to work autonomously
Qualifications
Oo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experience
- Painting Trade qualification
- Current Drivers License
- First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of requirements of the Worksafe NZ Act
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of general tools, plant, and equipment
- At least three years painting experience
