Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Patient Care Manager to lead our Ambulatory Care operations in Oakville, Canada. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of our ambulatory care services while ensuring exceptional patient care standards and operational efficiency.

  • Direct and coordinate all aspects of ambulatory care operations, ensuring high-quality patient care delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Manage and mentor clinical and administrative staff, promoting professional development and team collaboration
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets while optimizing resource allocation
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care coordination
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Oversee staff scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Current RN license preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive healthcare management experience, specifically in ambulatory care settings
  • Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards
  • Proven track record in implementing quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in performance metrics analysis
  • Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare management systems and technologies
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Healthcare management certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hour day shift (hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $56.639 - $70.462 per hour
