Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Manager with strong attention to detail to join our Digital team based in Marleston, Adelaide.  The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for sales outcomes across B2B and B2C ecommerce sites for the group and support our growing presence on global marketplaces.

Reporting to the Group Manager, Digital & Transformation the responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:  

  • Implementation of a wide range of strategies, tactics and techniques to accelerate the growth of B2B & B2C channels
  • Online sales strategy, planning and execution, trade/digital marketing activities and product catalogue management
  • Manage the end-to-end customer journey from leads to sales completion for new and existing customers
  • Drive the ecommerce function including website development projects, UX optimisation and execution of promotional/sales strategies

We are seeking someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Proven digital strategy and budgeting experience with 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Solid technical and commercial understanding of Google Analytics, website tagging, creative content, SEO, performance marketing and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly explain new concepts to a diverse audience
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and looks for innovative ways to evolve processes and structures for positive outcomes
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities
  • University degree in Business/Commerce (marketing or finance major) or comparable

Desirable (if applicable):

  • B2B ecommerce trading experience
