Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be a part of our Warehouse teams as a material handler.  This position will be responsible for moving material throughout the factory, sequenced kitting of parts, and ensuring the daily needs of internal customers are met satisfactorily.  This position will also work with other warehouse personnel to ensure inventory is correctly labeled, located, and secured; as well as work with Inventory Control Specialist and Cycle Counter to ensure inventory accuracy.  This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Moves products and material safely and efficiently throughout the factory to support production and PDC requirements. 
  • Reads production schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be pulled and distributed. 
  • Transacts material in the system accurately according to the type of transaction (receipts, issues, transfers). 
  • Audits completeness of kits and product being delivered to your reporting department. 
  • Use a PC or tablet to manage daily schedule, access work instructions, complete required transactions and report issues 
  • Operating powered and non-powered equipment such as forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand truck, overhead hoist, etc. 

 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must have at least one of the following: 
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. 
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) 
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience 
  • Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and performing of repetitive actions. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One or more year(s) experience in warehousing 
  • One or more year(s) forklift experience 
  • One or more year(s) experience using an ERP/inventory management system
