Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be a part of our Program Management team in Clarion, IA.  This position would lead cross-functional teams for complementary products including the 204 Detasseler, the LS20 Liquid Skid, and ExactDrop (Gates). This position will use the Product Delivery Process-Light Touch (PDP-LT) to develop and implement major improvements or updates to these complementary products. Responsible for meeting the program objectives, conducting stage reviews and maintaining tracking methods for the programs in terms of Cost, Function, Schedule and Quality. Projects can vary in scope and include model year update or programs involving only a few functional areas up to full model update and refresh programs. 

Essential Functions:

Project Execution

  • Supervises the implementation of a project to ensure that the project goals are met. 

Program Leadership

  • Ensures program meets Cost, Schedule, Functionality and Cost throughout the program stages and alerts leadership of necessary risk early to help determine mitigation.

Customer Understanding

  • Gains a thorough understanding of customer needs using necessary tools to gather and document needs and following through to ensure the Product Spec delivers to these expectations. 

Problem Resolution

  • Focuses on identifying root cause, developing and implementing corrective action utilizing the D8 or NCCA process or other tools to make data based decisions.

Compliance

  • Ensures program complies with all applicable standards, regulations and environmental or governmental guidelines.

Teambuilding

  • Builds a cohesive and unified team across the disciplines of PDP-LT.  Establishes a got-your-back mentality to ensure team members are looking for the success of the overall program; not their own.

Qualifications

  • Product engineering experience. – 1-3 years
  • Product or service development leadership experience. - 1 - 3 years
  • Experience in planning, organizing, managing and implementing projects – less than one year
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks – has good understanding and demonstrated proficiency
  • Knowledge of Product Delivery Process programs. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
  • Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or work equivalent experience
  •  Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent work experience
