Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is looking for a full time Facilities & Maintenance Technician with  electrical and electronics experience .  This position may need to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all of the tasks assigned.  Under general direction, performs basic work in areas including electronics, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, motor controls, plumbing, welding, vehicle maintenance, and general facilities. Equipment within the scope of work includes Paint systems which include oven and paint kitchen, CNC machines, CO2 lasers, paint systems, pumps, compressors, welders, hoists, HVAC, and factory utilities (gas, water, air). Work duties include preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, repair and installation.

 Essential Functions:

  • Follow safety standards in working with multiple tools, and equipment.
  • Follow up and complete work orders in an efficient and timely manner with high quality results.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of assignment.
  • Communicate with team members, co-workers, employees, contractors and vendors to obtain and provide useful information.
  • Be flexible in responding to changes in schedules and job priorities. Quickly respond to emergency situations.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Display positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

  •  Experience troubleshooting electronics (PLC/HMI, VFD) is a plus  
  • Understanding of PLC programming/ ladder logic is a plus
  • Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
  • Industrial Pumps & Drive Systems
  • Motor Controls
  • Industrial Utilities (Electrical Systems, Gas, Air)
  • Industrial Machine Maintenance
  •  CO2 Lasers
  • HVAC experience (Not a mandatory requirement)
  • Education:  Associates/Apprenticeship Program or equivalent Technical Training preferred
