Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Human Resources team as a Part-time Cafeteria Assistant  in Clarion, IA. This position will work to provide a superior customer experience (for both internal and external customers). The position will require a high level of creativity and the ability to Deliver WOW and will require flexibility as needed to support the team and business in the cafeteria.  You will work with other members of the Human Resources staff in a team environment to ensure that we meet the needs of the Hagie team. This position will report to the Human Resource Manager. 

  • Primary duties include assisting with lunch duties, dishes and clean-up
  • Assist Cafeteria Coordinator with preparation and distribution of menu items for Hagie lunch, plus Hagie events and special functions
  • Keep up to date with state food quality standards and codes
  • Follow clean-as-you-go policy
  • Will follow safety guidelines in operating all cooking equipment
  •  Learn and live by the Hagie Family Values!
  • Any other duties as assigned by manager.
  • his position would be a back up to the cafeteria coordinator as needed

Qualifications

 

  • Able to work up to 25 hours per week and be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm.  Primary hours will be 3 hours daily 10:00-1:00pm.  There may occasional fluctuations in schedule where more hours would be required to cover absences.
  • Exceptional positive attitude and personality·        
  •  Dependability and reliability are top criteria for this role
  • Professionalism and excellent customer service skills is a must.
  • Must have strong organization and communication skills.
  •  Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Preferred experience providing customer service/interacting general public.
  • Previous experience with handling/preparing/serving food is a plus- Less than 1 year.
