Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Facilities team as a Part-time Groundskeeper. This position will be considered a seasonal role through the summer 2020 to assist the current team with maintaining buildings and grounds.   This position will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. 

• Plants, weeds, rakes and waters all Hagie grounds.
• Transplants and mulches as necessary.
• Prunes annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees using the appropriate techniques according to the plant.
• Edges, mows and monitors the watering needs of the grounds.
• Maintains campus pathways and roads, patching potholes, cleaning drains, and sweeping debris.
• Uses leaf blowers, turf vacuums, other tools or hands to remove trash and debris from grounds.
• Operates power equipment including but not limited to edger, hedge trimmers, chain saw and tractor/loaders as necessary.
• Performs minor repairs to equipment and tooling necessary to perform the job.

• Able to work 20-29 hours per week and be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm.  There may occasional fluctuations in schedule where more hours would be required to cover absences.

• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Prefer Applicant to be 18 years of age based on type of equipment they will be operating.
