I am delighted to work with my client; a visionary Care Provider in the Derby area looking for a manager with drive and ambition, yet sensitivity and a nurturing nature.

A few key aspects of your role:
  • Overall responsibility for safeguarding young people 
  • Ensuring their wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do
  • Line managing a team of Support Workers and other front line staff
  • Managing the service budget
  • Responding to placement requests
  • Case load allocation and management
  • Managing staffing levels and working flexibly when needed
  • Assessment and monitoring of our of young peoples’ progress and ensuring it is documented
  • To provide timely and accurate information to Local Authorities as required by our contracts
  • Ensuring keyworking is evidenced and aligned with young peoples’ support plans
  • Managing risk assessments and any works necessary are carried out & implemented 
Essential for this role:
  • 2 years' relevant management experience
  • NVQ Level 4 (Health & Social Care or other relevant/equivalent qualifications)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
