Job Description

  • Report to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Responsible for the strategy, development and implementation of Marketing Plans, Brand Management and Communication strategies across the organisation
  • Responsible for digital Marketing plans: website, mobile and social media marketing
  • Liaise with branches and carry out their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis in order to develop specific promotional activities
  • Carry out Advert Monitoring, Measurement (impact assessment), Optimisation and Reporting
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all Marketing Communications programs and activities
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date Brand Manual for all internal and external branding protocols
  • Function as the production hub for all Marketing Communication activities, managing quality and effectiveness from design through production
  • Maintain Brand Integrity across product lines, advertising and all other internal and external communication platforms
  • Exploit Business Intelligence and Competitor Analysis, utilizing market trends to maintain brand leadership position
  • Manage Budgets and Financial related to brand marketing communications campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field with 15 years minimum experience in a structured organisation, 10 years of which must be in a managerial capacity

Other Requirements:

  • Experience in the retail industry, specifically retail pharmacy, is a critical advantage
  • Strategic business/commercial operational knowledge and understanding
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills, both internally and with external partners/accounts
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of demand analysis
  • Ability to lead and develop a team to success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office skills like Word, Outlook, and Excel.
