Job Description

HSMC is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide general maintenance for interior and exterior of all facilities and grounds
  • Completes and documents routine maintenance and inspections of all locations
  • Maintain inventory for most commonly used supplies and products
  • Works closely with the Director of Facilities to manage building maintenance and improvement projects 
  • Order new or replacement office furniture and set up temporary offices when necessary
  • Travel to office locations across MA required with company truck provided

Pay Rate: $21.19

Qualifications

  • Must have ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Must have a high attention to detail, be extremely organized, able to multi-task and have very strong communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to effectively interact successfully within a diverse employee population
  • 3 years of building and maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience in repair of electrical, plumbing, heating systems, painting, tile, carpentry preferred
  • Previous experience in human services a plus
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a CORI check
