Job Description
HSMC is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide general maintenance for interior and exterior of all facilities and grounds
- Completes and documents routine maintenance and inspections of all locations
- Maintain inventory for most commonly used supplies and products
- Works closely with the Director of Facilities to manage building maintenance and improvement projects
- Order new or replacement office furniture and set up temporary offices when necessary
- Travel to office locations across MA required with company truck provided
Pay Rate: $21.19
Qualifications
- Must have ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and to meet deadlines
- Must have a high attention to detail, be extremely organized, able to multi-task and have very strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to effectively interact successfully within a diverse employee population
- 3 years of building and maintenance experience preferred
- Experience in repair of electrical, plumbing, heating systems, painting, tile, carpentry preferred
- Previous experience in human services a plus
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a CORI check
