Criterion Child Enrichment is seeking an experienced Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).  Founded in 1985 as a not-for-profit organization, Criterion has served families for over 35 years and is a leading provider of early childhood education and early intervention services in Massachusetts.  Each year the agency serves over 7000 families with a staff of over 300 through a program network that extends throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Job Description

  • Work in partnership with the agency’s Board of Directors and Chief Administrative Officer to oversee operation of programs fulfilling Criterion’s Mission and Strategic Plans
  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization and to develop an agency wide training plan
  • Design and implement live and multimedia training programs for staff with associated training materials for employees throughout commonwealth
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness assuring learning objectives are achieved  
  • Utilize and apply evidence-based training practices
  • Establish and maintain ongoing involvement in state and national organizations to sustain Criterion’s reputation as a local leader in the field and ensure the application of current best practices
  • Develop and implement standardized clinical practices and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Acquire knowledge of program operations and administration to ensure improvement process and project management

 

 

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical and management background and the following experiences and characteristics:

  • Commitment to the Mission of Criterion Child Enrichment
  • Master’s Degree in related field required; Doctoral Degree preferred
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant clinical, administrative and management experience
  • Early childhood special education required
  • Experience in development and implementation of clinical training
  • Knowledge of current research and evidenced based practices in the field
