Job Description
Role Summary
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for assisting with daily financial activities and administrative tasks. The Finance Administrator will provide support across administration, different departments and internal as well as external communication.
Candidates must be enrolled in a current school program with coop placement as a requirement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Data entry, filing, reports generating using multiple Project Management/Accounting tools and systems
- Attend Meetings and take notes
- Track and manage receipt of Vendor Contracts and Client Contracts
- Manage mailings, vendor database
- Enter expenses in budget spreadsheet
- Collect, understand, process, verify and report accounting related-information to his/her vertical head
- Analytical and management support work assignments
- Preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
- Develop, create and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications, Wave accounting, FreshBooks and or Quickbooks
- Manage specialized information, reports, forms dealing with fees, billing, tracking of projects etc
- Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
- Process and manage accounts receivable (A/R) billing and handle billing correspondence with external clients.
- Draft corrective action plans, processes/procedures, and manage changes
- Manage Google Drive database and spreadsheet
- Help create Financial Statement, assist with Account Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- Send bills to clients and vendors
- Data migration
- Help create efficiency processes and strategies for accounting purposes
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Formal Education or Equivalent
- (Pursuing) Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting
Years of Experience
- 1-2 Years of experience in finance/accounting/bookkeeping

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Practical Knowledge of Accounting Systems, SAP, Project Tracking Tools
