Job Description

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor with hands-on mechanical experience to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, troubleshoot and oversee machinery, and ensure top-quality output while driving continuous improvement.

This is more than just managing production, it’s about inspiring your team, building accountability, and fostering growth. Your leadership, mechanical know-how, and understanding of automation will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a production team.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain machinery and automation equipment
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
  • Make timely decisions to keep operations efficient.
  • Manage workloads, absenteeism, and shift coverage.
  • Use data and reports to drive productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications

You’ll bring at least five years’ manufacturing experience and although this is a leadership position, we are open to candidates who are ready to step into people leadership and will provide training and development to support their progression. You’ll also have:

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A proactive, action-oriented approach.
  • Clear communication and accountability in leadership.
  • Financial awareness to manage costs and productivity.
  • The ability to train, mentor, and develop others.
  • Hands on mechanical experience and knowledge troubleshooting production equipment
